The Department of Oral Medicine is situated within Dundee Dental Hospital & School, on the
campus of the University of Dundee. The Department has two consultants – Dr Anita Nolan
and Dr John Gibson.

Drs Nolan and Gibson carry out most of their general clinics at the Dental Hospital & School
but, in addition, clinics are held weekly at Ninewells Hospital and Perth Royal Infirmary.

Drs Nolan and Gibson are both qualified in both Medicine and Dentistry and are committed to
undergraduate and postgraduate education as well as research in the field of Oral Medicine.

The consultants screen all referrals, which may be received from general dental and medical

practitioners and other consultants in secondary care.
